Building a wall

We had a visit from Mr Nichols to show us how to build a wall out of bricks.

    We looked at how sand and cement  mixed together made mortar.

    Mr Nichols then showed us how to put the bricks on top of each other so that the wall is strong.

 

Chinese New Year Celebrations

Robins and Wrens got together to learn about Chinese New Year.

We looked at chopsticks.

Chinese clothes

Rex found a message in the fortune cookie.

Robins enjoyed tasting the rice with soy sauce on.

It was fun using the chopsticks
